Amy and Allison drove out with us to Dumont and their husbands came a little later. Brayden helped Grandpa drive the motorhome as we entered the slow dirt road into the dunes.

Chad was helping Vance light sparklers and celebrate the New Year's Eve. Chad had to work for most of the weekend, but he came out afterwork one evening and stayed the night so he could have a little fun at the Sand Dunes.
Everyone stayed around the fire in the evenings and had fun visiting.

Logan got into the spirit of the evening with a top hat. Amy's family had a great time. Her boys rode their new four wheeler non-stop all weekend.

Jennie and Robert invited their friends the Howell's to come out with them for the weekend. The boys all had so much fun together.

Jennie, Kelsie and Kyla making moose balls one evening in the dutch oven. Moose balls are hershey kisses wrapped in bread dough and browned until golden in the dutch oven then rolled in powdered sugar. Sort of like a very sweet donut hole. I am going to need to start my diet when we get back.
Briton came with us to help Allison with Vance since Chad was working. We really enjoyed having her with us! Briton would take Vance and Colton on the four wheeler and just ride around camp keeping them entertained. She is such a sweet young women it's hard to believe she is going to be in High School next year.

We are hopeful that 2010 will bring a better economic scenario for Las Vegas. So many families we know have lost jobs and homes due to the recession. We are praying for a bright and better new year.
