Vance started off our Christmas Eve annual talent show by singing "Jingle Bells" with a little help from his Dad. Vance had been practicing for a while and did a great job. He was so excited!
Colton did an impromtu piano solo which was his very own version on "Jingle Bells", he just smiled and played his song and was happy to participate. Way to go Colton!
Brayden takes piano lessons from Amy and so he had prepared a piano solo to share for everyone.
He played his song without a hitch. Big smiles all the way around!
Logan has been taking piano lessons for over a year I think now, and prepared a piano solo too. He is getting better and was excited to share his advanced piano skills for us on Christmas Eve.
Amy and Allison surprised me with a special four-handed piano duet of my favorite song "My Heavenly Father Loves Me". It brought tears to my eyes it was so beautiful. That song always makes me think of my own parents. It was a difficult song and I can't believe that I never heard the girls practicing. Sneaky.Leslie had planned a fun game for us. She wrapped boxes and put them in other wrapped boxes. The last box opened by Brayden had $5 inside of it so he was totally stoked. The kids loved the game which was a new twist for our evening. Leslie is always right on with what the kids will enjoy.
Briton told a great story about the symbols of Christmas and their meanng. Briton is a beautiful young woman who is growing up so fast. Before you know it she will be off to school.
Aspen and Briton just love the new musician Justin Beiber and he just happens to have a new Christmas CD. We rocked out to the Beiber's version of "Little Drummer Boy". We rocked out to the CD and danced around the living room. It was so much fun!
We had all sort of crazy moved and break dancing going on.
You go Briton ...
Kim joined in the dancing. Don't know exactly what you call his moves?
Kind of blurry few photos but Chad was doing some serious break dancing and Allison was rocking it with her Dad.
Amy sent me this photo of the boys in their new shirt and belt they got for Christmas.
