Going to the Live Nativity is one of my favorite Christmas traditions. The short production is perfect for children and the real animals keep them fascinated. Afterwards they have an opportunity to come close and see the infant representing the Christ Child. The music is beautiful and the costumes feel so authentic. I appreciate all those who volunteer to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.
After the Live Nativity our family went to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to celebrate Logan's 9th birthday. Logan's birthday is actually on the December 22nd so it is a challenge to know when to celebrate it during the busy holiday season. Amy came up with this idea and it seems to work. We had a nice evening and went home much fatter. Logan got some cold cash from most everyone to spend on a iPod that he has been saving his money for.
