Big Tex Choice Award for BEST TASTING for 2011 was this treat....Buffalo Chicken in a flapjack - we couldn' resist trying this one. My favorite was the Fried Pumpkin Pie which was actually really good. The corn dogs were the best.
While we were waiting for Robert to pick Kim up from the airport the kids listened to a country singer named Charla Corn. She stopped her show so I could get this photo of Zachary with her in the background.
Jennie gave all of her kids $10 to spend at the fair besides the food that they bought. Mason waited until the very end to buy his cotton candy and dippin dots. Kelsie picked out a cell phone charm strap that she customized and Zachary went on a carnival ride that would have made me puke.
The police came near the end on their horses which the kids thought was pretty cool.
We just happened to catch the parade that looped around the fairgrounds.
