Vance Date Night 03-2011

 It was Vance's turn for his Grandma and Grandpa Birthday Date night.  We thought he might have fun checking out the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. 

 There is a corridor that you walk through were the fish can swim right over and you can see thru the glass.  Very cool - we had to tell Vance quite a few times that we were not going to touch the shark just look.

 He liked the turtle who was swimming around and stopped right in front of us.

 I actually have never seen jelly fish so this display was interesting, they look so delicate.

There was an area where you could touch the sting rays as they went by, and Kim kept trying to talk Vance into trying it, but Vance was not having any of it.  He just said "You do it Grandpa".  Smart boy.

 This huge alligator was at the very beginning of the exhibit but we had to come back to it 3 times so Vance could see it again.  The last time it started moving and getting up which was exciting for Vance.

Another great photo taken by Kim of me on one of our date nights.  Oh well, I was there.  This was the first time Kim or Vance had been to the Shark Reef, which ended up being a fun Date Night.
