Lots of firsts - new school year

Briton is officially driving herself to school.  Leslie snapped this photo just as she was heading out in her Student Council shirt for the first day of school
Chad and Lisa have two daughters that go to Bonanza High School with Briton.  Maddie on the left and Sophia in the middle.  Fun for the cousins to go to school together.  This is right before the first Pep Assembly of the year.
Briton and her friends right before their tennis match.  This is the second year that Briton has played tennis for Bonanza High School.  Go Bengals!
Aspen and her cousin Lauren on their first day of school heading off to Johnson Middle School.  Briton and Aspen went on a back east church history tour this summer with their other grandparents and all the cousins over 12 years old.  What a wonderful memory for them all.  Aspen is in Student Council enjoys being a part of student leadership.
Aspen starts school with a new grill --- braces!  Still looks adorable
Carson and Camden started at a new charter school for 5th grade and were both so
excited to be with new kids at a new campus.  Every time you ask them about school they have a smile on their face.  This will be a great year for them.
Jennie sent me this phone photo of Zachary trying out his new locker at Griffin Middle School.  You kind of forget what a big deal it is the first time you have to use a locker.  Big 6th grader!
Mason heads to school at Pink Elementary where he made a few really nice friends last year.  Mason and Zachary both went to a Lacross skills camp this summer and then Zachary played on a summer team which he really enjoyed.  We don't know too much about Lacross but is he keeps it up I am sure we will learn more.  Mason is going to play soccer this fall with Robert as his coach.
Zachary is out of Elementary School and on to Middle School.  Yeah!
The Ogden's head out for the big first day of school in Texas.
Kelsie and her girlfriend ready for the first day as High School Students.  I can hardly believe it.
Jennie says that she goes to Kelsie for fashion idea.  She has a good eye for clothes.  Just like someone else I know right?  Kelsie is starting piano lessons again which we are so happy about.  She really is musical and you just can't teach that to someone.
Zachary is playing football for the first time this season with a few of his friends.  He looks so cute in his football gear.  Zachary has a heart of an athlete and seems to be getting into the groove of this new sport.
Vance heads off to Pre-School for a fun morning with Miss Brittney and Miss Athylie.  Vance is already reading every day with Allison so he should be able to coast through pre-school this year.  Allison has spent all summer practicing reading with Vance and helping him learn to sound out words.  It is really amazing!

Allison wanted to try out her new camera on Vance so after preschool she took him out to snap a few more photos.  He is so photogenic.
Keller is not in school, but this is his almost walking trick.  Keller loves music and gets so excited whenever he hears the radio or piano.  I love that!
The Mathewson boys ready to rock it on their first day of school
This is the first time all of Amy's boys will be in school.  It is a big milestone this year.
Logan is in 4th grade and has a male teacher that he is excited to have so it should be a great year.
Amy says Brayden is only worried about playing ball and is pretty easy about everything else.  Brayden loved his outfit because it made him look like an athlete.
Colton was in preschool last year with Amy so she wasn't sure if he would cry or not the first day of kindergarten but he was a champ and put on a happy face.  Yeah!  Colton was Amy's star student in preschool last year.  He is a smart little cookie.
Logan and Brayden are playing football this fall too.  David is super excited to have his boys share his passion for football.
This summer Logan participated in a basketball camp at the Tarkanian Basketball Center
He was able to meet quite a few basketball ledgends and took this photo with basketball star
Larry Johnson right after he received his "Best Defensive Player Trophy"
