Anderson Girls Weekend

Gayle and I drove up from Las Vegas to Simi Valley together.  It was so nice to have some uninterrupted time - no other distractions.
Picking Pam up at the airport in Burbank.
Karen flew in the day before and the first order or business was to get unpacked.
The first activity Becky planned was for a morning of tennis.  I taught a few very basic tennis strokes and then we played queen of the court.
Becky was the hostess with the most-ess.  She made some delicious meals that I really need to get the recipes for.  Becky has an awesome kitchen.
Cafe Rio BBQ Pork type dinner.  Delicious.
Lot's of lower calorie treats - not that it did me a bit of good.  I got on the scale when
I got home the next day and groaned!
Off to hit some tennis balls
We had so much fun and got a little exercise while we were at it.
We went to the Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in the afternoon.  I had forgotten how inspiring President Reagan was. Lots of his famous quotes were all around the museum
Outside the museum.  Becky has a friend who let us use her season passes to get in for free.
It's great to be cheap!
Portrait of President Ronald Reagan at the entrance of the museum.
This was an exact replica of the White House during the time period when Reagan served.
President Reagan always had Jelly Belly brand jelly beans on the table of all
his conference tables and in his office.
Air Force One that was used for President Reagan was retired and moved to the museum.
Karen using the telepromters practicing for her presidential speech?
Stopping to take five after spending the afternoon at the museum
Pam bought these two cute mugs.
The Berlin Wall was taken down during Reagans adminsitration and a small panel of the wall was moved and saved at the museum.
Par 3 Golf Course - off we go
Surprising how much energy it took to do the Par 3 golf we headed to lunch at Panera Bread.
Some of us had been golfing before but we were definately the giggling beginner group.
Thankfully the Par 3 course wasn't too crowded so we could take our time and enjoy.
Becky planned so many fun things to do. Golfing was alot of fun.
We went and saw a community production of "Annie".
It was done in the round which I had never been to before.
What trip would be complete without a little "Retail Therapy" trip.
It was fun wandering around with everyone.
Thanks to Becky and Gayle we have tons of fun photos to remember our weekend.
My new shoes - love the red!
Pam's new outfit
Gayle was hanging out while we were trying stuff on.
Definately need one of these after a afternoon of shopping!
Cheesecake Factory was fabulous!  Karen, Pam and Becky have no restraint.  Right?
Of course, Pam can try and eat that by herself.... then she doesn't and that's why she is thin.  Ugh
Sub Zero Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream
Very cool way to make a fun summer treat
What, will this make me fat?  No kidding?

Pam always mixes up this phrase so she bought it to take home to have a good laugh
with her friends in Saratoga.
One of the Anderson girls favorite past-times ---- looking at model homes.
More shopping at a Home Decor store
 Becky being silly while shopping
Karen's new dress - very serious business.
Vava-VOOOOM.  This was cuter in the shorter version but Pam makes everything look good.
