Camping Trip with the Grandkids

Vance was just a tiny bit excited to go camping.

 Kim and I decided that we wanted to take the grandkids on a camping trip before school started.  We sent out a little invite for them to join us in the motorhome at Mtn. Charleston.  Jennie and Robert have been in the process of moving so their kids were already in Texas by the time we went.  Bummer.

 Everyone loves to sit around a fire and cook some smores.

One of the grandkids favorite games around the fire is "Splash".  You select a category and then pick a specific thing then go around the campfire with a water bottle lid filled with water and splash the one who can guess the exact thing the person picked.

We had all the boys bring their bikes which they rode around the campgrounds.

We brought some kites and luckily there was a little breeze one afternoon so the kids had fun flying kites.

Grandma knows how to fly a kite. 

Logan was excited to finally get his kite flying and staying away from the trees.  Success.

 Colton and Vance had so much fun together.  These little guys are best buddies.
